The City of Mandurah is thrilled to announce the return of 'Music in the Burbs' - a vibrant series of free community events set to bring live music, fun and connection to parks across Mandurah. From October 19 to November 16, these family-friendly events are all about celebrating community spirit, supporting local talent, and providing a welcoming space for residents to connect and enjoy the outdoors.
Each Saturday afternoon, a selected local park will come alive with the sounds of talented musicians and a range of engaging activities, from mini golf to gigantic bubbles and nature play for kids. These events, held in partnership with local community groups, are designed to reflect the unique character of each area and bring people together in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
Event dates and locations:
Saturday, 19 October, 3-6pm at Greenhouse Park, Mandurah (Corner of Greenhouse Way and Palmer Way, Mandurah): Enjoy performances by Alex Wayne and the Crackalackin Duo.
Saturday, 26 October, 3-6pm at Seascapes Pirate Park, Halls Head: Featuring Darren Guthrie and Lana & Alex Duo, in partnership with Seascapes Residents Association.

'Music in the Burbs' is more than just an event series, it's an opportunity for Mandurah residents to connect with their community, enjoy local talent, and participate in the vibrant social fabric of our City.
Bring your chairs and rugs to make the most of the picnic-friendly atmosphere. Local community groups will be offering sausage sizzles, coffee, and ice cream for purchase. Given the limited parking at the event locations, we recommend walking or cycling to the events if possible.
'Music in the Burbs' is an alcohol and smoke-free event, and we kindly ask that pets be left at home.
These events highlight the City of Mandurah's commitment to fostering strong community connections and providing accessible, enjoyable activities for all residents.
