The City of Mandurah is dedicated to preserving our coastal future through the Southern Beaches Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP).

This plan addresses the risks posed by coastal hazards such as erosion, storm surges, and rising sea levels, ensuring the sustainability of our southern beaches for future generations. This initiative builds on the Northern Beaches CHRMAP, marking the next step in our coastal resilience journey. By continuing to assess and manage coastal hazards, we aim to safeguard our community and natural environment, promoting a resilient and thriving coastline.

Coastal hazards threaten our environment, infrastructure, and community well-being. The CHRMAP is our proactive approach to managing these risks and developing sustainable solutions.

We value community input and encourage you to participate in our online surveys and Coastal Community Reference Group (CCRG) workshops. Your feedback will directly influence the Southern Beaches CHRMAP.
