The City of Mandurah is proud to be participating in the 2024 WA Tree Festival, joining together with local governments across the state to promote a program of fun and educational events aimed at sharing the invaluable benefits of trees with our local communities.

Running from April 6th to May 5th, the festival encourages residents and visitors to get involved, learn more about trees, and contribute to the growth of a thriving, healthy urban forest.

In Mandurah, we are excited to host a variety of activities, including educational tours, arboriculturist-led workshops on tree protection and management, and a competition recognising some of Mandurah's most beloved trees.

As a city built in nature, protecting and growing a healthy urban tree canopy and supporting our community to be proud stewards of our environment are key priorities for the City, outlined in our long-term Environment Strategy (2023-2033).

We encourage all to get involved and celebrate trees this month by joining a WA Tree Festival event, expanding your knowledge of local species, going for a nature walk, or participating in many activities across the city that allow you to experience the benefits and beauty of trees.
