The BMX track at Milgar Reserve will be temporarily closed for renovations and installation of a new starting gate.
The closure is scheduled from 12 April – 24 April 2024.
This decision, made in collaboration with the City of Mandurah, aims to improve the track's facilities and enhance the BMX experience for all users.
The project, initiated as part of ongoing efforts to upgrade community recreational facilities, will involve modifications to the track's straight 2 and the installation of a modern starting gate system.
During the closure period, the track and its associated facilities will be closed to the public to ensure the safety of both users and workers involved in the renovation process.
We understand that the temporary closure may inconvenience some of our valued BMX enthusiasts, but these upgrades are crucial for the long-term development and enjoyment of the track.
We appreciate the support and cooperation of the public and the broader BMX community during this period. We assure you that the improvements will significantly enhance the BMX experience at Milgar Reserve.
