There’s lots for kids at your local library. They can take part in drawing classes with Author/Illustrator Gabriel Evans or our Lego challenge, come along to our Science Alive sessions or enjoy a Minecraft and Pizza night! At Mandurah Museum kids can make a roaringly fun dinosaur mask and learn some fun facts about dinosaurs while going on a dinosaur hunt.
Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC) is busting out the inflatables with sessions available for ages 6-16. There's a bombie comp as part of Youth Week celebrations, Swim School 5 day program and our famous Roller Disco. We’ve also got Mandurah’s Biggest Zumba Party happening, so dress up in your neon, dust off your dancing shoes and join us for a huge night of dancing, exercise and fun!
Our Youth team has an epic line up for 11-17 year old’s starting with Noongar Cultural Experiences in the first week of holidays including traditional dance workshops, language, tool making and learning about Aboriginal totems. Everyone is welcome!
Week two features Freestyle Now skate comp, music workshop, night ramble and a tour of the Giant’s! We’re wrapping up Youth Week and the holidays by teaming up with other amazing youth services in Mandurah including Street Net, Mission Australia and headspace to put on a bombie comp at the MARC. We hope you find something that you’d love to be involved in to celebrate Youth Week WA.
