About the Event
Visit Mandurah Museum this February to discover how people crossed the Mandurah Estuary throughout history, the importance of this crossing in providing easier access to the south of Mandurah as well as stories and photographs of the ‘Old Mandurah Bridge’.
After the old bridge’s demolition, people had the opportunity to take home pieces of salvaged timber. Displayed are some local residents’ creations using the rich seasoned jarrah.
