About the Event
Come to the ‘Crossings Though Time’ exhibition at Mandurah Museum this February to discover how people crossed the Mandurah Estuary, the importance of this crossing in providing easier access to the south of Mandurah as well as stories and photographs of the ‘Old Mandurah Bridge’.
Children are tasked to build a bridge from pop sticks over a stream of water. The challenge is to construct the bridge strong enough to carry a Matchbox car from one side of the water to the other without it touching or falling in.
This self-guided, hands on activity is a STEM challenge, suitable for children 5 and older.
