About the Event
Enjoy a quiet moment with Sensory Santa, where your child can share their wishes in a calm, sensory-friendly setting. Parents are welcome to snap their own photos to capture the memory.Christmas colouring activities will be on hand to keep kids happily entertained while they wait for their session.
Each free Sensory Santa session is a relaxed 15 minutes, with a maximum of 12 sessions available each day. We just ask that you arrive five minutes before your scheduled time so everyone can enjoy a smooth, easy experience.
Santa will also visit the Christmas Pageant on 29 November, with photo opportunities available with Santa and his elves after the pageant on the Eastern Foreshore. This event will have festive sights and sounds, perfect for children who don’t require a low-sensory experience.
Sensory Santa accessibility details:
• Sensory resources and noise-reducing earmuffs will be available to borrow.
• Wheelchair-accessible toilet on site.
• ACROD parking and additional parking are available at the building entrance.
• Low lighting and soft music will be provided, and music can be turned off with prior notice.
• A friendly local expert will be present to bring a sense of calm and magic to the experience.
