About the Event
Would you like to build your confidence and independence using public transport? The City of Mandurah has partnered with Transperth, to deliver an education session to help get you where you need to go safely, efficiently and independently.
Transperth’s ‘Get on Board’ education program encourages active public transport use within your community. Participants will learn how to use the local Transperth services, giving you the skills you need to plan a journey, use your Seniors SmartRider, access your free travel, use the Transperth App to track your bus or train services and get around safely.

- Concession Entitlements
- Planning Your Journey
- Accessible Travel
- Safety and Security
Network Tour Requirements:
- Bookings essential as numbers are limited.
- If you have a Seniors SmartRider, please bring this with you. If you don't have one, please bring your Seniors Card.
- Opportunity to purchase morning tea will be available.
- Mobility: Some walking will be required and we encourage participants to wear appropriate footwear.
The tour will start at the Mandurah Seniors Centre/Dandjoo Kaadadjan Mia, where you will be meeting up with the group. From there, you will be taken on a guided tour to explore the surrounding areas.
Our monthly information sessions are open to all senior members of the community.
