About the Event

Appearing on camera can be a rewarding, but daunting way to get yourself out there in the video marketing space. In this workshop with Mark Regan, artists and business owners are empowered to overcome camera shyness and confidently deliver engaging, authentic messages for their video content.

Participants will learn practical techniques to enhance their on-camera presence, from speaking with clarity and confidence to dressing appropriately for various scenarios.

The workshop also covers tips for selecting the right gear, lighting, and settings to create polished, professional videos. By mastering techniques for on-camera presence and video production, participants will be able to create polished, professional videos that effectively communicate their brand and resonate with their audience.

Meet the Facilitator
Mark Regan is a filmmaker based in Western Australia who inspires audiences to be their unique selves by creating stories which expose the misconceptions of our own brains and society’s rules.
Mark writes short and feature film scripts. He has been involved in numerous local narrative film and documentary productions as a director, producer and cinematographer.
Mark began to create stories when he was a child and has always dreamed of sharing them with a wide audience. He is motivated to make stories that ask big questions and encourage the audience pause and reflect. In 2002, Mark graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Communications in Media and Film Studies. He taught film and digital media at Murdoch Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2021.
