A group of older people sit in a circle in a room with large windows, while one man wearing a branded t-shirt stands in the middle, talking to them
Delve into memory and personal connection through the art of marionette puppetry in this event by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre.

About the Event

Marionettes and Memories brings the art and magic of marionette puppetry to Mandurah Seniors and Community Centre for a touching exploration of memory.

Curated by renowned puppeteer Michael Barlow, seniors from the Mandurah Community are invited to hear the history of marionettes and develop basic manipulation skills. But it's not just about puppetry; it's about sharing stories. Participants will bring a cherished item from home, and then share memories connected to their item in a supportive setting.

Step into the spotlight, feel valued, and connect with others through the magic of puppetry and storytelling.
