Tell me more! The Mandurah Youth Advisory Group is an opportunity for young people to meet and discuss relevant youth issues in Mandurah, plan and deliver youth events and communicate, collaborate and liaise with the City of Mandurah Council.
But when? The group meet on the first Wednesday of every month, 4-6pm. There will be an opportunity to nominate for working groups within the group, to work on projects within the community based on what the group is passionate about. This will require meeting more often.

Beats Under the Bridge Summer Youth Festival
Following on from a Youth Forum, the Youth Advisory Group learnt that young people in Mandurah were wanting more youth events in Mandurah. So, they created the Beats Under the Bridge Summer Youth Festival! The day included:
- DJ Music
- Inflatables
- Basketball, volleyball and heaps of other activities
- Photo Booth
- Mandurah Youth Services
- Free Ice-cream
- A heaps of freebies!
Lakelands Street Festival
In 2025 the Youth Advisory group was involved in planning the Lakelands Street Festival. The event was held at the Lakelands Town Centre shopping plaza. The day included:
- Giant inflatables
- Free airbrush tattoos
- Free ice-cream
- Live music performed by young artists from the community
- And lots of freebies
