Local entrepreneurs and small business owners are being given the chance to kickstart their success in 2026 with two exciting, FREE business workshops hosted by the City of Mandurah.
StartUp Smart – Entrepreneurial Workshop
Thinking about starting your own business but not sure where to begin? The StartUp Smart program is an 8-week course designed to help aspiring business owners turn ideas into reality.
Participants will learn how to validate their business idea, identify customers and competitors, develop a solid business model, master branding, and create effective marketing strategies. Plus, the program includes one-on-one business advisory sessions during and after the course for ongoing support.
Dates: Tuesdays, 10 February - 31 March 2026

Marketing for Small Business Workshop
Already running a business and want to take your marketing to the next level? This 8-week capacity-building course will help local small business owners master marketing strategies, dominate digital platforms, and build strong networks.
Participants will gain practical skills in social media, content creation, branding, and lead generation; everything needed to thrive in today’s competitive market.
Dates: Wednesdays, 11 February - 1 April 2026
