Homelessness Week 2025 is coming up - August 4 to August 10
This year, the theme for Homelessness Week is 'Homelessness Prevention'.
It’s all about raising awareness of the impact of homelessness and the importance of providing solutions that make a difference to our community.
Did you know that over 10,000 individuals in WA are experiencing homelessness? It’s important to understand that homelessness isn't just about sleeping on the streets. People can be homeless if they are living in inadequate conditions, facing insecure housing, or lack control over their living situation, which often limits their ability to foster social connections.
Homelessness is a complex issue and a challenge for all of us. It can affect anyone, at any stage in their lives, from any background, and that’s why we all have a role to play.
We work together with the amazing local community services sector on meaningful actions towards addressing homelessness.

- Our Mandurah Community Services Directory connects individuals and families with local services and resources for ongoing assistance.
We encourage all community members to get involved in Homelessness Week events, learn more about the challenges of homelessness, and explore how you can help make a difference.
Together, we can build a more supportive and inclusive community for everyone.
