The Eastern Foreshore north and central areas are steadily taking shape, with several exciting milestones achieved over the past month.

As planned, sections of the northern area have started reopening to the community, improving access and creating a clearer and refreshed entry to local businesses.

Completed works include:
  • Asphalting of the new car park near TODS, with line markings and signage to follow.
  • Opening of pedestrian pathway access connections throughout the north end.
  • Commencement of turf installation on the grassed area, including soft landscaping.
  • Concreting and paving works around the new toilet block near Kwillena Gabi Pool, improving pedestrian access from the south.

Looking ahead the focus remains on completing the northern area of the Eastern Foreshore to welcome even more visitors over Christmas.

Looking ahead you can expect:
  • Completion of the works on the northern car park to be ready for use over the Christmas season.
  • Opening up more pedestrian access making it easier for locals and visitors to enjoy the space.
  • Installing light poles and fixtures, placing furniture and fittings, adding soft landscaping, and replacing temporary paving around service lids.

In more good news, construction of the new playground is taking shape, with playground equipment installation set to begin.

These works will create a vibrant and accessible Eastern Foreshore area, giving the community and Christmas visitors, a glimpse of what’s to come.

Remember, our fantastic local businesses are open and excited for what lies ahead:
