Stall at Peel Wellness Wednesday

The City of Mandurah is proud to support 2024 Mental Health Week, from October 5-12. This year's theme, "Empowering Communities, Thriving Workforces: A Journey Towards Investing in Our Mental Health", highlighting the vital role communities play in helping people take control of their mental wellbeing.
By dedicating time and effort to mental health, individuals can gain valuable tools to manage stress, seek support, and navigate challenging times.

A key event of the week is Peel Wellness Wednesday, a family-friendly health and wellbeing celebration on the Western Foreshore.
Packed with activities and entertainment for all ages, the event will feature over 50 local service providers offering information, resources, and free merchandise to support your health journey.
This year, Freestyle Now will also be hosting FREE BMX coaching clinics as part of the BMX Jam Sessions. (EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER)

Additionally, the popular Spring into Life event returns to Lakelands Shopping Centre, focusing on mental health through interactive activations, community stalls, and fun activities for all ages.

The community is encouraged to get involved in Mental Health Week by attending events, joining conversations, or simply connecting with others. Every action, whether it's participating in a workshop, going for a walk, or talking with a friend, helps build a mentally healthy Mandurah.

The City and its partners have also created a Health and Wellbeing Guide, which highlights local groups promoting social inclusion, provides information on key services, and offers tips for discussing mental health with your GP.
