The Citizen of the Year Awards are all about finding and celebrating these incredible individuals and groups who put in so much effort to make Mandurah a better place to live, work and play. Whether it's through acts of kindness, leadership, or coming up with great solutions to community challenges, these awards are our way of saying thank you to those who inspire us all.
Recognising these achievements is so important because it shows how much we appreciate the hard work of these individuals and encourages others to follow in their footsteps and get involved too. By shining a light on their efforts, we help build a stronger, more caring community.
Do you know someone who's making a big impact in our community? Now is your chance to celebrate them by nominating them for the Citizen of the Year Awards. These award honour the outstanding people and groups in Mandurah who contribute to education, health, voluntary services, business, sports, arts, and more.
Nominations for the 2025 Citizen of the Year Awards open on 1 September and close on 31 October 2024. To nominate someone, simply fill out the nomination form and tell us all about their amazing contributions.
