The community is being encouraged to nominate a local hero for the 2023 Community Citizen of the Year awards.
Each year on Australia Day, Community Citizen of the Year Awards are presented by Local Government within local communities across Western Australia to acknowledge the incredible contribution and outstanding service of those within our community.
There are so many selfless individuals who are taking the lead to make Mandurah a better place. These people deserve recognition.
If you know an individual or group who are doing great things in our community, nominate them for an award – it only takes a few minutes.
There are four categories for the awards:
- Community Citizen of the Year
- Senior Community Citizen of the Year
- Young Community Citizen of the Year
- Active Citizenship Award (for a group or event)
