Extension of Prohibited Burning Period

Due to the continuing hot dry weather, the City of Mandurah would like to advise our local community that the "Prohibited Burning Period" is being extended for a period of 14 days, from 00:01 hours 1 April 2022 to midnight 14 April 2022.

This means that no burning in the open air may occur during the above mentioned period.

This is in accordance with section 17 (7) & (8) of the Bush Fires Act 1954 and in accordance with delegated authority under section 17 (10) of the Bush Fires Act 1954.
