Total fire ban and harvest vehicle / movement ban

Total fire ban and harvest/vehicle movement ban is now in place for the Mandurah area.

The ban has been declared for our local area today for January 20. It will be reviewed and further advice will be issued in the coming days. More details.

The following activities are NOT permitted during this time:

• Harvesting operators
• Any "hot works" (eg. welding, grinding, cutting, heating etc)
• Use or operation of any vehicle, engine, plant, equipment or machinery in areas likely to cause fire OR contribute to spread of fire
• Vehicle access to Tims Thicket and White Hills
