The City of Mandurah is seeking applications for the position of Director Built and Natural Environment. This is an exciting position in our recently created organisational structure and will be key in supporting the City’s strategic direction.
This is a senior leadership position. It is expected that the successful candidate will not only demonstrate leadership of the Built and Natural Environment Directorate during an exciting time of transformation, but also make a significant contribution to the development of Mandurah as a great place to live and work.
This position embraces a wide-ranging portfolio incorporating civil infrastructure construction and maintenance and environmental management and planning for the City. Strategic thinking is required to assess the risks and opportunities that arise and make recommendations that will provide the best outcome for the community.

To be considered for this position you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Possession of, or progress towards, a Post Graduate qualification in Management
- Eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia
- Commitment to self-improvement and professional development
This position is a Designated Senior Employee and attracts a total remuneration package of up to $270,000. This will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on a five-year performance based contract.
