Mandurah residents are encouraged to make their vote count ahead of the 2021 Local Government Elections this October.

The City of Mandurah Elections are conducted by the Western Australian Electoral Commission and will be held on Saturday 16 October 2021, however postal votes are sent prior to this as the preferred voting option.

If you are a ratepayer and/or resident of the City of Mandurah, ensure that you are enrolled to vote in the upcoming Local Election. You can check your enrolment at www.elections.wa.gov.au/OnlineEnrolmentSystem.

Two weeks prior to Election Day, postal voting packages will be sent to all registered voters, and residents are encouraged to make their voices heard by voting for their preferred local representative.

Voting in a Local Government Election is not compulsory in Western Australia. However, all electors are strongly encouraged to vote.
This election, there is one vacancy for the Mayor position, one vacancy each for the North and Coastal wards, and two vacancies each for East and Town wards.

Thursday 2 September Candidate nominations open
Thursday 9 September Candidate nominations close
Thursday 9 September (4pm) Caretaker period commences
Saturday 25 September Postal votes sent to electors (approximate)
Tuesday 12 October Last date to send your postal vote
Friday 15 October Last date to deliver your vote in person to the City of Mandurah Administration Building (3 Peel St).
Saturday 16 October Election Day (Mandurah Seniors Centre)
