Public Notice For: All
Thursday, 20 May 2021

Pursuant to Section 52 of the Land Administration Act 1997, and Section 6 of the Land Administration Regulations 1998, the City of Mandurah hereby advises its intention to request the Minister for Lands undertake the transfer of the following private right of ways (ROWs):

  • Lot 266 on Plan 6698 C/T 1193/842 Approx. 253m2
  • Lot 66 on Plan 6616 C/T 1185/855 Approx. 253m2

to the Crown for reservation to the City under a management order with a purpose of ‘Pedestrian Accessway’.

The ROWs are remnant land parcels from the original subdivision of the area, held in private ownership by a descendant of Charles Ernest Williams, Farmer of Brookton (now deceased).

This amendment will enable the City to install critical water infrastructure required for the upcoming Coodanup Foreshore upgrade, but will not affect the current use of the land as a thoroughfare for the public to and from the foreshore.
