The WA Government's announcement that from 6pm on Sunday 31 January to 6pm Friday 5 February 2021, the Perth metropolitan area, Peel and South West regions will enter a lockdown, will impact some of the City's services and facilities. All essential services will continue however all facilities will be closed to the public during the lockdown.

These facilities are closed:

  • Administration Building - available for phone and email enquiries only
  • Mandurah Waste Management Centre - residential bin collections will continue however all facility locations will be closed to the public (except for commercial waste)
  • City of Mandurah libraries - Mandurah, Lakelands and Falcon
  • Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre
  • Seniors and Community Centre
  • Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah
  • Mandurah Community Museum
  • Billy Dower Youth Centre
  • Community halls and indoor hireable spaces
  • Playgrounds, skate parks and outdoor fitness equipment

The Administration Building on Peel Street will be closed to in-person enquiries however you can still email us or call us on 9550 3777. You can also submit an online enquiry, or contact us via Facebook.

A wide range of City services are also available on our website via our online services.

Bin collection

Your bins will be collected as normal during the lockdown. Please put your bins out on your verge by 6am on your normal bin day. The Waste Management Centre (tip) will be closed (except for commercial waste).
