The Soul’d Out Music program is an opportunity for young people to explore the music they are into – whether they are a singer, a rapper, an instrumentalist, beatmaker/producer or a songwriter, or are just interested in exploring and developing these skills coming from a place of little to no prior experience.
The aim of the program is to facilitate music making in a studio setting - focusing on creative expression through recording, producing or song writing. The facilitator Jo focuses on giving the young people the support and coaching they need to express themselves in safe space free of judgment and prejudice.
The program is normally run on Tuesdays from 10.30am until 4pm at the Passages Youth Engagement Hub in Mandurah but we are lucky enough to have Jo at the Billy Dower Youth Centre on Tuesday the 18th of April from 11am - 3pm hosting this workshop.
