About the Event
Join us for an exciting and educational day at the 2025 Kids Teaching Kids program. This peer-to-peer learning program turns the traditional program upside down by putting students at the forefront.
This year's theme is 'Languages of Nature', exploring communication patterns in different flora and fauna, such as trees, birds, and insects.
We're inviting high school students from the Mandurah and Peel region to present to primary students on an environmental topic of their choice that aligns with the theme.

The Kids Teaching Kids program is an Earthwatch Australia initiative and a City of Mandurah led program, held at John Tonkin College. The program empowers students to take on the role of educators, encouraging them to explore environmental topics, develop their presentation skills, and engage in hands-on activities that make learning both fun and impactful. By participating, students not only enhance their understanding of environmental issues but also inspire others to take action and make a difference.
Throughout the day, students will also break out into a freestyle info stall expo. This is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their innovative solutions in creative, interactive, and fun ways.
We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating the creativity and leadership of our young environmental champions!
