Step forward for Mandurah - Become an Elected Member

If you would like to make a difference in your community and have a say in local decision-making, consider standing for election as a Local Government Elected Member.

The City of Mandurah is hosting a Candidate Information Session to help you understand what’s involved and how you can get started.

Can’t make it?

WALGA, together with the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS) and the WA Electoral Commission, will be hosting an online Election Candidate Information Briefing webinar on Monday, 18 August 2025 at 6:00pm.
Presenters will cover a range of topics, with the aim of preparing successful candidates for life as an Elected Member.
