About the Event

WA Seniors Week is an annual event that encourages people of all ages to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of older people to the Western Australian community.

To celebrate Seniors Week and the amazing Seniors community this year, the City of Mandurah’s Seniors and Community Centre will be offering a week-long event line up from 13 November – 18 November.

Local residents over 55’s can take advantage of members prices at the Centre all week and experience a taste of what our 2,500 members enjoy.  Our weekly timetable is jam packed with over 40 activities with more than half free to attend. There’ll be plenty to do or see to suit all interests. Come and meet one of our friendly Seniors Week ambassadors in our reception area (look out for the white and purple sash’s) who will take you on a tour through the Centre to learn more about what is on offer.

The Coffee Spot Cafe offers delicious foods made fresh to order until 1.00pm, with the Dining Room offering two-course meals daily for only $12. A special week of roasts will be on offer and daily café cake specials from $5 with a free tea and coffee station in the dining room.

Highlights of the week-long event line up include our special guest speaker sports broadcaster Glenn Mitchell, Bernard Carney’s Beatles singalong concert, Safety Matters information session, Mega Bingo, Seniors Week Expo and our Glitter and Gold spectacular finale Cabaret.

What are you waiting for? Come along and join in the fun.
