About the Event

Every 19 minutes, someone in Australia experiences a stroke. In 2020, more than 27,000 Australians had a stroke for the first time. But the good news is that up to 80 per cent of strokes are preventable with the right knowledge and lifestyle choices.

Join Kerry Beake, a volunteer StrokeSafe speaker from the Stroke Foundation, for an informative and potentially life-saving session.

Learn about:

What stroke is and how to recognise the warning signs.

What to do if you or someone else is having a stroke.

How to reduce your risk and protect the people you love.

This session is a must for anyone wanting to take control of their health and be prepared in an emergency. Don’t miss it!

Our monthly information sessions are free and open to all senior members of the community.

Bookings essential please contact Mandurah Seniors Centre Admin on 9550 3799.
