Creative Horizons Art Workshops
Immerse yourself in the realm of creativity with this series of workshops led by local Mandurah artists, Sarah Petrich, Candice Sawyer and Kerry Davies. Embark on a journey of self-expression and artistic discovery to nurture your skills and ignite your imagination.
Workshop 1 – Upcycled Woven Basket Part 1
In this workshop, we’ll use preloved curtains, tablecloths, sheets, threads, and wool to create a fun rope, which will then be woven into a basket. This is the first in a three-part series, where you can work on a large basket over three sessions, or simply attend one session to learn the technique and continue at your own pace. All materials are provided, but if you have any fabrics / textiles / wool you'd like to use, or share feel free to bring them along.
