About the Event
To mark Homelessness Week 2023, City of Mandurah are proud to be hosting this community event.
Matt Vapor from Beneath the Surface will talk about his lived experience and insights into the issues of domestic abuse, homelessness, educational disadvantage and mental health.
The workshop will inform and educate participants on these topics and help to challenge and change perceptions. Matt uses his past experiences to help motivate and inform others on how to change their lives for the better. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have a wider understanding of the causes of homelessness and better equipped to support and empathise with those in vulnerable situations.
This workshop is only suitable for people over the age of eighteen due to the subject matter.
