About the Event
Immerse yourself in a festive wonderland as the City of Mandurah lights up the night with the dazzling Christmas Lights Trail, sponsored by Ray White Mandurah and supported by Lotterywest and Tourism Western Australia.
Running from 29 November, 2024, to 5 January, 2025, this enchanting trail will illuminate the City Centre and Mandurah Ocean Marina with spectacular light displays and festive cheer.
The Christmas Lights Trail showcases stunning light installations. This year, the City of Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail brings a magical twist with exciting virtual reality (VR) experiences!
Watch as the lights come alive and Santa soars through the air right before your eyes. Simply scan the QR codes along the trail with your own phone to unlock these enchanting features. See Christmas come to life as you explore the trail and interact with our festive displays in a whole new way. It's an experience you won’t want to miss—click the button on your phone and let the holiday magic unfold!
Wander through the City Centre southern precinct at Kwillena Gabi Pool, explore the vibrant Boardwalk and Mandjar Square in the northern precinct, and enjoy the picturesque Mandurah Ocean Marina. Each location is adorned with unique and festive light displays, creating a magical atmosphere throughout the holiday season.
From November 29 to December 24, join us for an array of family-friendly entertainment and activities. Enjoy performances on our entertainment stage featuring community groups showcasing theatrical and cultural shows.
Be entertained by live local music artists and explore the Twilight Markets, which will be open twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays, and the Tiny Treasures Twilight markets, each Thursday evening at CASM. Children can participate in a free workshop each night, while roving entertainers add an extra touch of magic to the experience.
The Christmas Lights Trail officially begins as part of the City of Mandurah Christmas Pageant festivities on 29 November.

Many light installations are positioned along pathways or solid surfaces, though some are set up on grass. Enjoy the festive atmosphere with easier access along much of the trail.
- We are committed to ensuring everyone can enjoy the Christmas Lights Trail. Many installations are positioned along pathways or on solid surfaces, and accessible facilities, including a Changing Places facility and accessible toilets, are available near the Mandurah Visitor Centre.
- ACROD parking is provided in key areas such as the City Centre, Mandjar Square, and Mandurah Ocean Marina.
- Seating along the route and a mobility scooter recharge station on the Eastern Foreshore are also available.
