Chop Street Music’s Resonance 2025 program concludes with this fascinating and engaging masterclass, delving into the joys and challenges of songwriting.
This unique songwriting masterclass features three established songwriters who will share their creative journeys and original songs. The session will be set in an intimate format, with all three songwriters seated on stage, taking turns performing their songs and discussing the inspiration and process behind their work.
The masterclass will conclude with an interactive Q&A, providing the audience with the chance to ask questions and gain deeper insights into the art of songwriting.

Meet the Facilitator
Chop Street Music is passionate about helping emerging musicians develop their careers through workshops, programs, performance opportunities and recording services. Facilitator Nur Azman has worked extensively with West Australian Music (WAM) on key industry events such as WAMFest, WAMCon, The WAMAwards, and The Song of the Year Competition, all of which focus on showcasing and developing local talent. As manager of John Butler Studio, she also has firsthand experience in artist development, event management and music business operations.
