About the Event
Capturing original artwork through photography can be a challenge. Loss of detail and nuance, awkward lights and shadows, and meeting submission requirements are just some of the problems many artists run into when capturing their 2D and 3D artworks on camera.
Focusing on basic photography principles that are applicable to smartphone use, this workshop will cover topics such as:
- Equipment options
- Set up
- Basic software options for simple editing
- Tips for success
- Lighting
- Camera/smartphone settings
- File sizes
- Keeping it simple using a mobile phone camera or tablet
The workshop is suitable for beginners, and will be a presentation and Q&A format.
