A series of three images - the first shows a pair of hands holding cards with writing on them, the second shows a blonde woman standing in front of a screen, speaking to someone, the third shows a close up of hands writing something in a notebook.
Expand the boundaries of your creativity and reframe your thinking, in this 2-day intensive workshop with Shona Erskine.

About the Event

This workshop introduces artists, arts workers, and producers to the neuroscience of creativity, focusing on how creative thinking actually works in the brain and how it can be supported in real-world artistic contexts.

Over the two-day workshop, participants will develop a toolkit of techniques that can be used to spark and sustain creativity, and gain an understanding of how these techniques can be applied to individual or community-based creative practice, regardless of scale, genre or artform.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Strengthen their individual creative capacity using practical, skills that can be applied immediately
  • Recognise and respond to common barriers to creativity, including creative blocks and risk-avoidance
  • Lead groups and community projects toward creative and innovative outcomes
  • Design processes and environments that support idea generation, experimentation and collaboration

Each day is catered with tea, coffee and a light lunch included in the ticket-price.

Tickets are available for the full weekend only.
