About the Event
You could be next Tkay Maidza or Baker Boy, but where to start in the world of rap and hip-hop?
In this 3-hour session, Zero Emcee will guide you through the creative process of lyric writing, performance, and recording, highlighting the importance of confidence, creativity and teamwork.
The workshop will include:
- Introduction to hip-hop, R&B, and storytelling through lyrics
- Brainstorming themes: identity, culture, home, dreams, emotions
- Writing exercises
- Record your own song!
