An abstract landscape painting of a river with rocky banks, a yellow and orange surrounding landscape, and two people in a small row boat.
Learn the secret to making a painting your own in this two-hour workshop by internationally renowned artist Michele Usibelli.

About the Event

This in-depth, 2-hour presentation will feature the incredible Michele Usibelli, as she shows how she manipulates her reference photo to create a painting, in her unique voice. It covers composition, colour choices and other elements, focussing on the topic of Creative Licence when building or creating your painting.

Attendees will be led through a slideshow and discussion studying Michele’s works as they progressed from photographic reference to final painting.

About the Artist – Michele’s goal is to create original artwork that resonates with each viewer. As the granddaughter of Italian and French immigrants, creativity flows naturally. After earning her Architecture degree from the University of Washington, Michele merged her professional expertise with her love of travel.
