Learn how your Smartphone can work for you in this editing workshop with Mark Regan.

The workshop teaches participants advanced video editing techniques to give their content a polished, professional finish, enhancing brand appeal and audience engagement.

Creatives and arts business owners will learn practical tips for editing visuals and sound, explore user-friendly video editing apps for both Android and Apple, and discover how to finalise projects by adding music, graphics, and text.

The workshop also covers essential strategies for managing video assets, choosing the right platforms for sharing—like YouTube, websites, and social media—and maximising online reach.

  • Using industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Rush, iMovie, Canva or Cap Cut.

Meet the Facilitator
Mark Regan is a filmmaker based in Western Australia who inspires audiences to be their unique selves by creating stories which expose the misconceptions of our own brains and society’s rules.
Mark writes short and feature film scripts. He has been involved in numerous local narrative film and documentary productions as a director, producer and cinematographer.
Mark began to create stories when he was a child and has always dreamed of sharing them with a wide audience. He is motivated to make stories that ask big questions and encourage the audience pause and reflect. In 2002, Mark graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Communications in Media and Film Studies. He taught film and digital media at Murdoch Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2021.
