Pursuant to Section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995 the City of Mandurah is required to periodically review all of its local laws. This is to determine whether or not the local law should be amended, repealed or remain unchanged.
Notice is hereby given that in accordance with this section, the City of Mandurah has resolved to commence a review of the following local laws:
- Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2010
- Fencing Local Law 2015
- Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law 2015
Copies of these local laws may be inspected at the City’s Administration Centre, 3 Peel Street, Mandurah, between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Copies will also be available for viewing at Mandurah Library, Lakelands Library and Community Centre, the Falcon Library and Community Centre during normal operating hours. Copies of the local laws are also available from the City of Mandurah website www.mandurah.wa.gov.au.
Submission about the local laws may be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Mandurah, PO Box 210, Mandurah WA 6210 or emailed to council@mandurah.wa.gov.au.
All feedback will be considered and presented to Council. Should amendments be proposed, a draft of the amended local law will be advertised for public comment.
The closing date for submissions is Friday, 16 January 2026.
