Pinjarra Road upgrades are closing in on a key milestone, with sealing works set to be carried out on the westbound lanes between Foulkes Place and Sutton Street later this month.
Sealing is essential in ensuring the longevity and durability of the road, maintaining a smooth and safe surface for vehicles while also protecting the underlying pavement from water ingress.
The works will be carried out after the Easter and Anzac Day holidays, with specific dates and timeframes to be confirmed soon. City of Mandurah staff will be consulting with businesses in the area over the coming weeks to ensure impacts to accessways is kept to a minimum.
Sealing works will be completed within one day.
Recent progress
Other works completed over the past two weeks include:
- Drainage infrastructure upgrades
- Pavement rehabilitation around intersections
- Construction of basecourse layer between Boundary Road and Sutton Street
Looking ahead
Upcoming work over the next fortnight (prior to sealing works) will focus on setting lids and pouring gullies between Foulkes Place and Sutton Street.
Construction of the basecourse layer between Boundary Road and Foulkes Place will also be carried out in the coming weeks.
