Construction of the Dawesville Community Centre is progressing well ahead of the Christmas break and is on track to be completed by mid-2025.

A series of milestones have been reached in recent weeks, including:

  • Internal walls lined with plasterboard
  • Flooring polished in centre lobby
  • External cladding installed

The construction team is now focussing on installing windows over the coming weeks.

The Dawesville Community Centre will provide Mandurah’s southern communities with a modern, central hub for residents and neighbours to connect, work and play.

This project is being funded by a $2.65 million Lotterywest grant and a $6.2 million financial contribution from the State Government, with the City of Mandurah managing the project and the future operations of the facility.

For project-related questions, contact the City on 9550 3777. If you have a query regarding future bookings of the Dawesville Community Centre, email the City’s Community Development team at cdo@mandurah.wa.gov.au
