There will be a partial closure to the City of Mandurah’s Waste Management Centre this weekend (January 21-23, 2023).
Due to urgent repair works to the processing machinery, the facility will not be accepting general waste during the partial closure.
This closure will affect the disposal of general rubbish only, and the facility will continue to accept green waste, inert waste and recyclable materials during this time.
This closure will not impact any household bin collections in the community, and residents should continue to put their bins out as scheduled.
Disposal of general waste at the facility is due to be back up and running by Tuesday, January 24.
The City’s Junk and Metal verge collections begin on February 6, and residents are encouraged to make the most of these collections.
