Mandurah Arts Festival Hero Image

The upcoming Mandurah Arts Festival is set to immerse visitors and residents alike in a spectacular three-day celebration of arts and culture, from 14 – 16 October.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Mandurah’s revitalised Eastern Foreshore, the festival will offer an unique experience with local stories, people and histories taking centre stage. Attendees can expect to see music, dance performances, puppet shows, multicultural celebrations, arts workshops, and visual art exhibitions showcasing Mandurah’s creative talent, across a variety of artforms.

Mayor Rhys Williams said the Mandurah Arts Festival will connect people through shared experiences, and encourages the community to express pride in who they are and where they are from.

“This year’s festival promises to bring our community together to inspire, and be inspired, as we celebrate Mandurah’s unique location, stories and people,” he said. “Celebrating and highlighting our local heritage, spaces and creativity through the arts helps us to create a strong sense of place, which is so important among local communities.

“I hope that everyone has the chance to get involved in this year’s festival, so make sure you check out the program. Thank you to all of our local creative people and community members who have helped to bring this year’s event to life.”

The lively festival atmosphere will be supported by an engaging program including free demonstrations and interactive workshops, family friendly performances and entertainment – plus two spectacular Wearable Art Mandurah Showcases, and a ghost tour that’s not for the faint-hearted.There will also be plenty of exciting opportunities to meet local and state musicians, performers and cultural community groups.

The Mandurah Arts Festival will kick off at 6pm on Friday, October 14 and will continue throughout the weekend with a busy program of free events on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16.
