The week also features ‘Come and Try sessions that includes free sessions of Yoga, Jazz Dance, Zumba and Line Dancing.
Mega Bingo will bring out the big prizes on Thursday with all community members invited to take part from 12pm – eyes down at 12.45pm. The week then rounds off with the Celebrate Seniors Expo that will allow you to find out what is on in the area for seniors, including activities to keep you active and connected to the community.
Seniors can also take advantage of member's prices at the Seniors Centre all week, and get a taste of what the 2200-plus members come to the Centre for.
The Centre's weekly timetable is packed with more than 40 activities, and more than half of those are free to attend, so people can find something to suit all interests, and a group of people at the Centre who enjoy the same things. The Seniors Centre Cafe offers delicious meals made fresh to order until 1.30pm, and the Dining Room serves two-course meals daily for $10.
