At its meeting held on the 22 June 2021, Council resolved to adopt Draft Local Planning Policy No. 3 – Non Residential Uses within Residential Zones for the purposes of advertising. The policy will consolidate three existing local planning policies relating to Medical Centres, Child Care Premises and Home Based Businesses and incorporate provisions from Town Planning Scheme No. 3 relating to Commercial Vehicle Parking.
The policy will provide guidance for the development of the various non-residential land uses within residential areas. The Draft Local Planning Policy is available for viewing on the City’s website via www.mandurahmatters.com.au/projects. A copy of the policy can also be viewed at Council’s Administration Office at 3 Peel Street Mandurah during the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Submissions on the policy can be lodged in writing to the City of Mandurah by Friday 13 August 2021 via email to planning@mandurah.wa.gov.au.
