The Perth and Peel three-day COVID-19 lockdown has ended, with some restrictions to remain until 12.01am, Saturday 1 May.

These include wearing a mask when outside the home (unless aged under 12 or exempt), working from home if possible and checking in or registering when visiting businesses and facilities.

Indoor City facilities and businesses have a capacity limit of 20 patrons, and will adhere to the 4sqm physical distancing rule, so please be aware of this when out and about.

These facilities include City of Mandurah Libraries, Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (will reopen pools only on Wednesday), Seniors and Community Centre, Billy Dower Youth Centre, Waste Management Centre and Mandurah Museum, as well as community halls and other hireable spaces.

See the individual facility webpages or Facebook pages for specific opening details and updates.

Other things you can do help prevent the possible spread of COVID-19 are:

  • Practise physical distancing by staying at least 1.5m, or two arms lengths, away from others.
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or hand sanitiser, and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow.
  • Stay home if you're unwell and get tested for COVID-19 if you have flu-like symptoms.
