About the Event

April is World Autism Month, a time to recognise and celebrate the diversity of autistic people and their lived experiences.

Join us on Wednesday 22 April 2026 for a community workshop, Valuing Neurodiversity in our Community.

Facilitated by Neurominded® alongside local autistic people, this session will explore autism and neurodiversity through lived experience and shared discussion.

Workshop participants will gain insight into the strengths and support needs within the autistic community and consider ways to create more inclusive and welcoming community spaces and interactions.

This workshop provides a supportive space to ask questions, share ideas and connect with others who are committed to building a community where everyone belongs.

A morning tea will be provided, offering a relaxed opportunity to meet new people, continue discussions, and make the most of this experience.
