About the Event
Come and join this free workshop "Engaging and Creating Inclusive Spaces for Young People with Disability" on the 23 March. The course will be held at Mandurah Lotteries House from 130pm to 3pm.
We love seeing anyone volunteering especially young people with disability. To ensure people with disability feel inclusive in the work space, this workshop will give you knowledge on how to reduce barriers. The session will provide an understanding of the barriers facing people with disability, knowledge of inclusive language and how to improve accessibility.
This workshop will be fun and interactive with opportunity for judgement free questions. The workshop will be delivered by Youth Disability Advocacy Network in partnership with Peel Volunteer Resource Centre and City of Mandurah.
