About the Event
Dive into the dynamic and thrilling world of diving with Diving WA and the City of Mandurah MARC! The sport of diving combines the visual appeal of the divers with the challenge to break new boundaries of courage, skill, and athleticism.
Why dive?
Diving combines the athleticism of gymnastics, the grace of ballet, and the concentration of a chess player.
It's a sport that belongs to all, regardless of age or skill level. Everyone can participate and progress at their own pace.
General lesson format:
- Warm-up and stretching
- "Dry land" activities including trampoline work and the use of diving boards over crash mats
- Water activities starting from the side of the pool progressing to low diving
