About the Event
Uncover History with Professional Archaeologists!
The Australian Heritage Festival is an annual event from 18 April – 18 May. The theme this year is Unearthed. Mandurah Museum will be celebrating our heritage during this time by hosting several events.
Looking for an exciting and educational weekend activity? Join the expert team from Archae-Aus as they excavate the grounds near Leslie Street Centre—once home to the original Soldier’s Barracks from the 1830s.
This hands-on experience invites community members to take part in real archaeological digs, helping to unearth and analyse historical artifacts under the guidance of professional archaeologists.
Who Can Participate?
This activity is designed for youth and adults aged 13+ due to the nature of the workshop.
